About Sage & Friends
Hi 👋 I’m Sarah, full time mum to my one-year-old son, Sage.
Ever since he was tiny, I’ve loved putting together outfits for him. But two things constantly frustrate me: fun, bold kids’ clothes are so expensive (they do know toddlers will be wearing these, right?!), and babies grow out of them so damn fast, which means we’re generating heaps of waste.
That’s why I created Sage and Friends. I thrift quality second-hand clothes, and upcycle them into one-of-a-kind pieces.
Every design is hand-drawn, carved into linoleum and printed by me (usually during nap time!). No two Sage & Friends items are the same, just like the tiny humans who wear them.
Instead of perfectly good clothes languishing in charity shops (where only 10-30% of donations ever sell), we give them a second life, while helping style-conscious parents dress their kids in unique, playful clothes without breaking the bank.
